Sarah Worley is a nationally and locally recognized mediator and arbitrator with more than 27 years of legal experience, including 21 years as a neutral. She is a seasoned trial attorney who has first-chaired jury trials throughout the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She is a member of the National Academy of Distinguished Neutrals and has been recognized by Super Lawyers and Top Women of Law in Massachusetts. She has mediated or arbitrated more than 9,000 cases and has served as a Case Evaluator, Special Master, and workplace negotiator. She has been quoted in Lawyers Weekly, Law 360, and has authored articles for the Massachusetts Bar Journal, the Massachusetts Bar Association Section Review, and the American Bar Association Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section. She is a long-time member of the Massachusetts Bar Association’s Dispute Resolution Section and now serves as its Chairperson. She is the co-author of the Massachusetts Practice Series, Volume 47, Mediation and Arbitration, 2002 Edition. Sarah mediates and arbitrates disputes throughout New England, the United States, and Canada and works with counsel nationwide on complex matters. She has served as a court-appointed Discovery Master and Special Master in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. She has mediated and arbitrated personal injury cases, wrongful death cases, product liability and product failure cases, professional and medical malpractice actions, subrogation disputes, business disputes, insurance coverage disputes, construction cases, discrimination and harassment cases, and labor disputes, and has served as a case evaluator in complex multi-jurisdictional matters. She has also served as a mediator in abuse cases involving religious orders and institutions throughout the United States. Sarah is fluent in issues of electronic discovery and procedure and is a past member of the Sedona Conference Working Group on Electronic Document Retention and Production. In addition to the practice areas listed elsewhere on this site, Sarah has worked extensively on matters involving injury to children, and she serves as a mediator in divorce and family matters involving high net worth individuals. In addition to her dispute resolution practice, Sarah also serves as an independent investigator in Title IX and workplace cases. She is a certified civil rights investigator and, in that capacity, has completed fact-finding and investigations for private schools, parochial schools, colleges and universities.
